1 Million Strong

1 Million Strong is a nationwide mental health and recovery movement launched by Stand Together to normalize recovery and create sober-inclusive spaces across music, sports, and entertainment. What began as a campaign rooted in music culture has grown into a multi-channel movement—partnering with artists, venues, festivals, and communities to foster connection, belonging, and hope.

Through brand identity, campaigns, content, digital platforms, merchandise, and live experiences, the work reshaped how recovery and mental health show up in everyday cultural spaces. In two years, the initiative generated 300+ earned media mentions, formed 40+ partnerships, influenced 20+ industry adoptions, and welcomed more than 1,100 new Phoenix members—contributing to a broader shift from stigma to belonging.
